you know youre running a REAL business when...

... you get your 1st 4 drawer filing cabinet.

ive been working at home like a lot of webmasters, but recently moved into an office cuz i just have too much crap going on (adult, nonadult, etc). i have outgrown my little 2 drawer finally and staples brought me this nifty black 4 drawer with a lock & everything. i feel special. haha

that said, any of you newbies that treat this like a hobby... thats fine, but remember youre gonna get out of this what you put into it. the day i started treating this like a "real job" i started making money, and not a day before.

    the revolution is coming.

My little color tv set is sitting ontop of my two-drawer file cabinet three feet away from desk. Only my Playstation is hooked up to the tv since my sister took my N64. The top drawer of the file cabinet is full of important papers, useless information & rpg characters. The bottom drawer has empty file folders and binders.

Infuckingdeed....I have taken a break to catch up on everything and come back full force...daily schedule, keep better books/logs, etc. It's been a hobby for a year now and I've made some good cash and realized what you stated about a month ago and immediately started making plans to treat this like what it is, a business.

cool bro - i've had a separate office for a long while now - once i started hiring full time employees i had to have a place for them to work.

i love my office - i have high speed wireless internet set up for us, and it's range is far enough that i am actually in the bar next door as i write this (and try to get some work done)
we'll miss you our friend. RIP

I knew I had made it when the banks started treating me differently and with respect. An office helps as well.

I am still unorganized as all hell. I have a filing cabinet, but its mainly used for storage. No organization whatsoever. BUT! ask me where something is in my piles of paper, I'll find it.

You need to hire a cute Canadian girl to organize your shit.

                    How about tiny briefcase office?

Notebook + 3rd gen mobile phone / wlan...

Say bye bye for wires - homeoffices - offices and be a lonesome webmaster far far away from home... just be carefully where you're riding with your porn-full-notebook - Signapore shouldn't be the first place to visit

I went shopping for some office space two weeks ago, im trying to find the best place. somewhere between here and my wifes work, high bandwidth, and privacy.. Places are cheap as hell though, I havent found one office more than 250/mo haha.

I bought a 2 drawer filling cabinet day before yesterday. nothing in it yet except for a bottle of JD. haha, but im printing out all the shit tonight and the wife is going to handle that.
