                5.) The contest will be closed to new entries on Saturday at Noon EDT (or at the tip-off of the first Elite8 game, whichever comes first).

                Why would anyone enter a total now? Just wait of the Round of 16 games to be completed and you'll only have to add that total to whatever you predict the next four games' totals will be.

                So shouldn't the entries be closed Thursday PM when the tip off of the first round of 16 game starts?

                    I thought that, but the numbers will mostly be gone by then anyway probably. Still calculating my guess here.

                                                    Good question...and one we thought about. The answer is because you can enter once per day and the winning numbers may already be gone. The question is would you rather have five days of guesses or one "educated" guess?
