    Give it to your kids?
    Keep its as phone?
    Jailbreak it?
    Make it an ipod touch?

Iphone 3Gs are still fetching high prices in parts of the developing world. Maybe there's an opportunity there for someone willing to tackle the importation-related paperwork and process.

I sold my first gen 2G iphone on ebay last week for $145. You can make more selling the 3GS than it costs for an iphone4 right now.

I am not using my iphone 4 until they fix the proximity sensor.

So until that happens I use the 3gs

Damn, I was just going to throw mine away but looking at ebay they are selling between $170-$220.

Might as well sell it instead.

Go into "General" >> "Reset" >> "Erase All Content and Settings"

Then, take your SIM card out, http://www.maclife.com/article/how_t...phone_sim_card. I sold mine without the SIM card included. They're cheap, buyers can buy another one for less than $5 bucks.
