    FSC needs stats on pre-registered .XXXtld's

    Diane needs your help! I found this posted on another board and thought it would be of importance to get the word out over here.

              everyone should avoid him like the plague.

              don't give him any evidence to show "support". pay attention to who he hangs with. there will be many closed door meetings with big dogs.

              this is his last shot to prove support before it goes back to be reviewed for "community support"

                          Remember he is trying to define the "sponsoring community" as only those that support him.
                          ICM?s argument, I believe, is that dot-xxx is not intended to be for the whole adult industry but only those that want to sign up to it. So if you don?t want to sign up, you don?t have to.

                                  He should not be given any platform, but people need to take the gloves off with this guy and let him know what a pile of crap his campaign and proposal is. Not standing up and speaking out will just help his agenda.

                                  Someone should video tape this event and don't let him side step any questions like he has done over at that other board. If it is on tape, he can't twist, spin or worm his way out of the truth.

                                  They should also be asking some questions to his good friends the "ASACP"!
                                  It seems as though they are riding the wave with lawley....all in it for the big money grab....shameful at best!

                                                                                                      Another angle is see in this cesspool of deceit, is that if this ever did became law, I would not doubt it if the ASACP started smoozing the politicians while the same time convincing them that by requiring all adult sites to fly the seal of approval (RTA label) along with the .xxxtld it will even be easier to track sites and to enable parental filtering even more than it was before, while demonstrating their total commitment to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate content. And I am sure their greedy little paws will want a "one time fee" or 40.00 per domain charge.

                                                                                                          avn should take the lead and crusade the .xxx lack of support by making it their cover story for december. they've had a very tough go at internet and i think that it would help the internet community see that they actually care about the internet side of the business.
