Well, let's see here.

H.R. Giger has some cool works, love the way he has so many sexual things going on, some you might not even notice at first.

Check out Hieronymous Bosch, he is old school cira 1700's as i recall. His tryptic "Garden of earthly delights" is awesome, as is "christ carrying the cross".

Frank Frazetta has some cool stuff too, my favorites are his "Death Dealer" picture sets.
