I spent quite a bit of $$ with him through cybercat in the last year...but Im not gonna suck someones dick to go to their party...Im in the business to make money...and if I meet some friends along the way...great...Those in the biz who know me know that I am a stand-up guy....Netbilling doesnt ask me to justify why I should go to their sponsored event...neither does Webair or Epoch...because I have personal relationships with those people and consider them friends...its a given that they would invite me....maybe this thread is just a promo schtick...I dont know...but if it is true...it is really fucked up

this is why i don't give a FUCK about anyone I havn't met for this event. That concept is rare for industry events but it's the guiding principle for this event.
why the fuck should I buy your evening if i don't know you. You mean nothing to me. Those that were invited were clients and friends. I've met and/or done business with them all - and most for YEARS - MANY YEARS. I owe them.
this IS an event for old timers in the business, and a LOT of the guests are incredibly successful finacnially but that isn't the criteria for getting on the guest list.
and just cause you bought one fucking ad doesn't mean you'll make it on the list either. most clients have been buying from me on and off for YEARS.

and for the one moron who keep mentions the onlymovies party - YES - that event is also a who's who of traffic in the industry. I've been invited to every one and they've been invited to every one of my events. Different idea though. I do an event/activity- they do dinner and for those that think one is better than the other - think about this - we have on ALL of them co ordinartated with each other so we were on different nights. for the most part it's pretty much the same people at both events and I give fade and mike a LOT of credit for putting on a high end event year in and year out. they do a great job and i consider them both personal friends
