I will tell you why I do not buy into the US Tax system and do everything I can to lower my tax burden. Because I live, work and earn my income abroad and not on US soil. I have not lived in the USA for years and have residency in another country.
The USA wants to tax their slaves on their world wide income and that is simply horse shit. I do not use ANYTHING from the USA. Nada. They do not assist me in any manner for anything. I take nothing from the system and feel it's only fair to give nothing or as close to it as I can, in return. Thankfully, there are a lot of tax loopholes that allow for lowering your tax burden when living and working abroad.
