    damn snake escaped its housing

so last night i go to feed my junior cornsnakes, one shedded its skin and they hadnt had a decent meal in over ten days. So they should have been hungry. When i opened the housing one of them immediatly pops its head out looking if theres food, but the other one was nowhere to be found, fearing the worst i decided to take everything out of the terrarium and see if we could spot it then, nothing!

Then we took the bark on the floor of the terrarium out but still no go. Checked all holes they could been using in the background, also nothing. So i have come to the conclusion that we got a tiny (35cm) corn snake running lose.

Been searching all night to no avail and now i have put pinkys out on strategic places to see if it wants to feed.

Tonight im gonna be flowering the sides of the floors up, so if it comes out it will leave a small trail which should be large enough to see where it is hiding (these snakes are really lively when they are small and need a lot of food). Hopefully we will be able to catch it before my inlaws turn up on saturday :D

Consider yourself lucky. I came home once to find a cobra in my kitchen.

I HATE snakes!! As in I REALLY HATE THEM! Anyways, last week my cousin asks me to come up to his new flat to show him some stuff in Photoshop. I go up and while walking into his computer room I notice a tank, thinking its an aquarium I walk into the living room to see it and what do I see? a 6 feet Canadian Corn Snake. I almost fainted lol. He proceeded to open the doors and was about to bring it out when I pretty much told him if he did I'd smack him.

He told me its harmless etc, but its still a 6 feet long snake, and I really do have a big fear of them so harmless means nothing to me. Hope you find your little guy before he gets too big.

It's natural for an animal to run free or crawl free.

is there a chance (based on it's size) that the one that popped it's head out may have eaten the other?

Same thing happened to Jayman once.
After a year he found it dead on top of a closet.

ps. why do friends with snakes on the lose always invite me over?

Don't worry, when loose they only grow 3x as fast and like to dine on testicles. Make sure you wear your underwear when you go to bed.

Place a water dish on the floor next to a wall. What kind of enclosure? Do you have any pics [to see how it got out].
