    Who do I have to bribe to get an ebay account? Anyone have one that they want to sell to me?

    If that is possible. What a pain in the ass to deal with. I signed up for an ebay account about 2 weeks ago. Had to put code on my sites to verify I owned them. Then waited for ever to get some canned dumb ass reply that they would not accept me for some of the following reasons and then had a list of bullshit. There is nothing wrong with my mainstream site. I had the same problem with them a couple years back for another site. WTF? I want to send them business and I am not doing anything shady.

    If anyone has a contact or has an account with them that they are not using and they will sell it to me, let me know. If that is possible, for me to change the contact and tax id info etc...

                                  How old is the mainstream site you are submitting?
                                  They are getting pickier about sites being established for several months-years with a decent amount of traffic.
                                  Three years ago, you could sign up with a blogger or hubpages account and get approved. Now they verify domain ownership and traffic history.

                                      I know a lot of people abused the shit out of eBay's affiliate program several years ago. Sounds like the pendulum has now swung too far in the other direction now.

                                              its relatively new sites with not a lot of traffic yet. I was going to wait to get the ebay stuff in place before cranking it as I was going to be featuring their program as the main source of revenue. I guess I will need to find someone with an established high volume site to let me put down as mine to get me through the verification process. Christ it is not like I am going to do anything to cheat them, i just want a damn affiliate account.

                                                      i will find a way around it if I have to buy a damn mainstream site that is established with a lot of traffic to it already. They just piss me off, but they have a lot of income potential with their program and I have a good way to promote it.
