First, I must say kudos to Connor and LAJ for putting together yet another informative, entertaining and memorable Cybernet Expo in San Francisco this past Thursday through Saturday.
This was my third Cybernet Expo in a row. I was able to meet several people again, as well as meet many others for the first time. I was also able to get some good business accomplished.
Before posting some pix, I just wanted to note that I have reached 23,000 posts, and July represents my 6th year on GFY - when I reflect back, it is amazing all of the changes which have occurred. Well, at least I can say, I'm still standing!
I have a lot of pix to post from each night, so time to get started (check back for more pix later, since it will take me awhile to upload them all).
For the opening night of the Cybernet Expo, I was invited to do a live photo shoot during an after-hours party in the Y-Not Hospitality Suite. At 5pm one of the models I scheduled texted me that she could not make it, and another model was told by a person in the lobby that I had left the show (name not listed to protect the guilty).
I frantically started working my iPhone to find last minute replacements. Thank you so much to Alice and Tina for saving the day, as well as to my ever reliable and talented make-up artist Hahn.
Once the lights were set and the models booked, I could breathe a sigh of relief and have a drink. Steve Lightspeed and Monica from The Stockroom showed up with some Marilyn Manson Absinthe, which certainly loosened things up:
