You have spyware, plain and simple. Google owns Doubleclick, yes, and they use it to gather information and inject ads based on the sites you visit. The reason you see Doubleclick URL's is because it is tracking what you visit to inject ads. And it is considered malware by many spyware removal programs.

All you've downloaded and installed was a plug-in Google offers to permnamently disable it should you get re-infected somewhere down the line. Google does this so they don't have their asses handed to them for not providing a permnament solution to their spyware.
