MicroChick, Bob is part owner of YNOT, and not only was he NOT kicked out of YNOT, and not only was there NO mystery event over the border, but who exactly would be in a position to kick Bob out of YNOT even if they wanted to? Woops, slight problem with THAT rumor, huh?

Posts like this are a perfect example of why everyone should be VERY careful when taking random comments from chat boards as gospel. The truth is that Bob is still part owner as he's always been, but has simply focused his attention on other opportunities for the moment. I think anyone who has been a business owner will understand why it pays off to diversify your assets. Bob knows what he's doing.

Although I mean no offense MicroChick, I haven't heard of you and I'm not sure which company you are with... but if you're being upfront in this thread and not just trying to make up drama (one never knows these days, especially when the poster is anonymous) then please drop me an email at [email protected] when you get a chance... I'd be interested to know where you heard this "rumor" so I can make sure the originator knows the truth as well.

Wow, some pretty horrible things to say about someone... it never ceases to amaze me how the most successful people in this business have to deal with so much crap on the boards. I know Steve's wife well, and she's a wonderful person, and what you are posting here is very disrespectful. If you're going to make rude comments like this then at LEAST you should identify yourself so the rest of us can decide whether or not we want to do business with you.

I agree with what Bob was saying, that Steve is a pioneer... he's a (if not THE) founder of the most successful niche in our industry. He has always been extremely generous with the industry, has thrown the best parties and events for webmasters, is instrumental in the success of Phoenix Forum, and what's more I personally consider him to be a good friend. While there's no sense getting into flame wars with anonymous posters, I just feel compelled to offer some support to Steve here... sorry you have to deal with shit like this my friend, but I'm afraid that when you get to be as successful as you are, some of the people left behind get resentful. But those of us who know you know the truth.

I know this is not needed, but I know steve and shannon very well, and bob somewhat well, and you are passing around some serious misinformation where I really cant begin to imagine where you got the stuff you are saying.
