    The Black File

    Wondering if I'm the only one that keeps a "Black File". No, not a private phonebook with the numbers of well-hung black men....

    It's a hard shell aluminum briefcase with all past & present legal documents... lawsuits, divorces, legal infractions, tickets, etc.... pretty much anything that either is or could be a legal black mark. It's mostly symbolic now as I have a paperless studio where everything is scanned into the computers now, but the point is, I still have all this shit... like some kind of morbid collection or something.... anyone else?

      I should add that the reason it came to be known as "The Black File" is because it was originally created and kept in a black hanging file folder.

              Exactly. Every time I think about getting rid of it all, something comes up and proves that you never know when you might need that stuff. I've had stuff come up again 7 years after the fact and had to defend or prove my position. Luckily, I was able to because I still had all that shit.

                      It's called a "Bug Out Bag".... and yes. Everyone should have at least one or two. If not for the end of the world, at least for unpredictable natural disasters. Not having one is just ignorant.

                                          I have a safe for my papers and stuff, it's an old safe and about close to a foot thick, could hit the building with a missle and the papers would survive I think
                                          Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
