      not banned, but you're not allowed to promote them anymore on adwords

      example:

      AD TEXT:

      In The Vip - only $4.95
      Join the famous wild girls
      sex site today! ( aff )
      www.InTheVip.com

      Ad Status: Suspended - Pending Revision
      Ad Issue(s): Trademark in Ad Content
      ~~~~~~~~~
      SUGGESTIONS:
      -> Ad Content: Please remove the following trademark from your ad: "In
      The VIP".
      edit: ah ok, you said some domains may be banned, well, i havent checked it, you might be right, but the adwords thing is a seperate issue....
      I don't use ICQ anymore.
          maybe this is nastydollars way of cornering their own adwords market, wouldn't be a bad idea if they did it right
            i realise this was just meaning , obviously this was a nastydollars decision not a google one.
            Thus they must have asked google not to use their trademark name anymore, 2 issues here. If this a push by nastydollars to enforce their copyright name and rid the se's of nd copycat names ? or just a focus on taking away adwords revenue from google..
            and if so , wouldnt google be unhappy about the loss of revenue and perhaps drop them from their reg listings ?
              Any and all trademarked terms are theirs with no competition..
                Wouldnt suprize me to be honest tho. a lot of companies dont like you bidding on their name (i.e. ebay). I've had a few campaigns run before and they did ok, but nothing to run with.
                Ive been seeing a lot more people get their ads shut down by Google for adult content
                  Sucks when they tell you that you cannot use this as a keyword:
                  "Girls for Shemales"
                  Even if it is a website name.... Girls = preteen suggestive content somehow....
                    very true...very true
                    but even when you have to whole market share, if you don't know what you are doing, you can easily mis-run an adwords campaign
                      "Just dropping a note to let all webmasters know that as of Jan 5th 2007, we will no longer allow the use of our trademarked brand names, Bangbros and Bangbus (or any variation) to be used in Google AdWords or any similar search engine advertising program. We are currently working with google and other programs to disable these as keywords, until then, we will be enforcing it ourselves."
                          They might want the monopoly positions on these search engines.
