    Dedi hosting prices?

    Been a few years since i have kept an eye on prices .. looking at possibly moving some of our hosting..

    what sort of price am I looking at for managed (with root) - Dual Core (2 GHZ+), with 2 GB of RAM and a 400 GB HD with say 15 Mbits?

          Not sure I understand why you need root if you want your host to manage the server.

          We have unmanaged, with the DirectAdmin control panel (allows you to do just about anything you would want to do) and root access, with the following specs for $99 (no setup)

              Most hosts aren't going to like giving you root on a managed plan as they don't like having two heads going in different directions. Our plans are managed by default, but we can do any of them unmanaged if you prefer. The hardware you list is older, so to get that you are going to typically go on a recycled server.
