I took today off. And it was wonderful.

You may have seen my post last night about the wall of tired. As per someone's recomendation, I took some time off. 24 hours, to be exact. Wow what a difference it makes. If you haven't tried it recently, do it, it's worth the lost wages :D

PS: Just don't get used to it, or else you'll be a lazy slacker, and that's no good.

    Cliffs: Take a day off.

Oh man, it was insane today. I spent hours outside, working on a fence, cleaned my car, drove around for a bit (and wished my AC worked), and then watched some TV sitting next to my portable AC. Then I went outside on the sundeck and had an ice cold beer.

Why can't life be like that every day? Damnnnnnn!

I try my best to avoid the computer as much as possible at least 1 day a week. I still check email and a few other things just in case something comes up, but other then that I'm laying low for the day

Everyone needs time away from the computer....

              That's what blackberry's are for!

Haha, no really. It's good to take a real break now and again.

Solid advice, I take a day off and go to the beach or take my nephew to the playground. Good to get your mind off of things.

I've had a don't work on Fridays rule since forever although it's actually harder to stick to now while working from home than it was in a proper job.
