WOW those are awesome pictures, thanks for sharing them. I couldn't have a lens that expensive, I'd be pissed if I dropped the damn thing.
Funny you mention, I dropped the Noctilux the first day I got it - slipped off my lap when I opened the car door. Landed filter-first on the asphalt, had to send it in to Leica to get it repaired. Just got it back yesterday again, took 3 months.
I could not get the filter off, it was jammed in the filter thread. Since the lenses are so rare, it took so long to get it repaired. Fortunately Leica's 3yr Passport warranty covers accidental damage to their lenses.
Yes. As said, I love the b&w pics but would love to see the colour jpgs still.
equinox, sorry to hear you dropped your leica lens All fixed now or has it not been returned yet?
There you go, a few in color. Different processing, depending on the mood. The Noctilux eventually made its way back to me a few days ago. Hasn't come off the M9 since.
So impressive These are my favourites. The colour was needed for the flags & especially the light from the sun with the blue sky & no distortion on the rockets...

Thanks dude!
I would be highly disturbed if a $6500 lens shows distortion
