It does not make any sense, if she was not involved in the making of his earnings then she should not receive a cent of it. If he wants to give her X amount of money then that is his own deal. But I don't feel anyone should be entitled to someones money just because they were married to them, I have witnessed similiar split ups before and the wive ends up with an absurd amount of 'bad luck' for being a greedy bitch.
