Ok right now i have an 18" LCD and been shopping around for a larger screen and thinking about getting the Sony Bravia 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV.Is this too big for a pc? Im not sure if i could adapt to a moniter almost 2X the size.

I have a 32" Toshiba REGZA but do not plan sitting on top of it at a computer desk. I have it wall mounted with a desk about 4 feet away from the actual wall. The color is amazing and the resolution is unsurpassed from my past experiences. Here is a link, check them out for yourself.
And also, be sure to look up whatever TV/Monitor you ever consider buying at places such as Amazon, CircuitCity, BestBuy, etc. and read buyer's/User's reviews. This has saved me a ton of time, returns, headaches etc. Just a tip

For me, 19" is about the maximum I can stomach. It took me a long time to get used to a 19" LCD from a 17" CRT and anything bigger gives me headaches after just a few minutes of use.

I kept it at 19" also, the screen is too close to my eyes to go bigger

ok let me ask you...Do you find it comfortable to browse the web with a big moniter 4 feet away?or is it better to have a smaller one sitting on your desk?
I was walking around Future Shop and seen this big sony screen loaded with a browser, and for a few seconds i was mesmerized for all the great gaming i could do on my pc since i am a big fan of FPS games(Rtcw and BF Vietnam) although i also need this moniter for work and not sure if i could adjust to bigger text,images and so on.Comment

I use a 20.` Viewsonic (VP201b) that is really nice, with a secondary generic LCD panel (17 inch) for stats, mail, and chat windows. I am considering adding a third monitor.
Really huge monitors (32 inch) will require you to really try it out and see if you can handle looking at it, it might give you some eye strain.Comment

If your going for widescreen layout, 20-24" will do. If you're going for standard 4:3, 19 - 22"
