The irony in this thread is truly mind blowing.
Should Apple not learn grammar for their products?

They named the "i" years back with the iMac. Which is definatly past not present. Also Apple is not 1 but a few members of... They has??? no, They have, Sorry KrissyElise FAIL
As origionally quoted "Apple have incorrectly named their products".
Thats witty
But then apple would have called it a "myselfPhone"
Call him WEASEL. All in capital letters.
Quoted from one of his blogs "I recently read some marketing advice aimed at porn companies where they suggest you research your competition (good idea) then in your adveritisng they suggest you trash your competition"
& Weasel is in adveritsng

How do you pronounce "irony?"All of the Apple products, iTunes, iPhone, iPad & iPod are all spealt with the little "i". This should be pronounced similar to the "I" in "sim". An "I" pronounced "eye" is always a capital.
Wikipedia show the "iPhone" as "IPhone" in their url.
Truthfully, Apple have incorrectly named their products

Dude, it's the NAME of something. There are also things like "Silent t's" like in Monet ...haha.... yes yes, nice one
At the same time, Im not criticizing Apple, just speaking of a fact. With this "i" can make a many mistakes as "i" want & should'nt have a worry
I have an iPhone, so I have nothing against Apple..... Do you not agree though. The name should either have been Iphone.
Here's what will ruin your entire thought process behind the "i vs I."
Actually that last sentence did it for me. See if you can catch it!Comment

Now now. Gary left school at 16 and doesn't understand grammar, punctuation or humanity in general. He thinks a typo on a blog is in someway like finding pics of me fucking a 6 year old. He is REALLY enjoying thinking he somehow has one up on me because he found one typo on my blog.
Don't take that away from him.Comment

In past tense a group of people HAVE and one person or a company HAS.
I do not agree that Apple HAS incorrectly named their products.
If we are talking present:
Apple is incorrectly naming their products. If you want a group of people you would say:
Apple employees ARE incorrectly naming their products.

Apple is a company. ONE COMPANY, not many.
If Apple employees were spoken of, then yes, Apple employees have incorrectly named their product. You were referring to Apple as a singular company. Therefore if your statement was correct it would read:
As originally quoted "Apple has incorrectly named their products".Comment

Fair play... Is the "i" not said "I" because of the vowel "o" in the middle of the word? Ask an English language teacher & not myself please.
I couldnt learn a thing from your grammer Weasel. Have you not noticed your cock up on your blog. I think you say that your in Adverisnging or something or other... You fucking weasel!

Your just pissed because you tried to troll the thread with some incompitent comment. I dont have to correct grammer, Im stating a fact that Iphone should be spelt like this rather than iPhone. I have one... Take a chill pill
I was talking of Apple as a group, so they "have". Dont worry about an appology. Its ok
And yet this mammal would be more welcome in my pool than a dirty rotten weasel like you

I was pointing out a simple fact that iPhone should be Iphone.
I was also speaking about the company as the whole firm which have many working for them. A few people decide on the workings & the few directors manage decisions. They have, Apple have, what ever...
Why oh why would you not just either say, no, I like iPhone or no, your probably right & it could have or should have been Iphone etc.Comment

I was explaining that the word "irony" that you said, how about how this is pronouced is spoken as irony with the i because of the vowel in the middle. The o

Because you are very very bad at grammar. Every sentence you every write has a mistake in it. And you started a thread criticising someone else's grammar.
And you were wrong in your criticism.

Hope you had fun sucking off the black guy. Really, even on my worst days I wouldn't have written that you had turned gay and sucked off black cock.
I mean, I live in the gay capital of the UK, I am cool with the gays, but I just didn't think you would come out in such a public way. And with such a big black cock.
I am pleased for you. Must be a relief.Last edited by DamianJ; 07-01-2010, 02:16 PM.Comment

No one likes a spelling Nazi, but when you are pointing out "grammAR" problems, it's probably best not to formulate the post and thread title in the writing style of Tarzan. It should also be the one time of the year when you at least spell check, if spelling correctly is not your usual thing. To begin, why the fuck has this thread turned into a spelling bee???

It wasnt the grammer. It was more the point to the grammer. Why would a multi million, or trillion company, not do a capital "I"? Having a memorable product name is huge in marketing. They did just that . Everyone knows what an iPhone is. There is no "point to the grammar." This is not a grammar discussion at all. Are you one to tell me "Why didn't your mother name you Alyse?" It's a name. There are no rules on what you can name things/people.Last edited by KrissyElise; 07-01-2010, 03:05 PM.Comment

Weasel, you only came on this thread with a childlike ignorance. Maybe that is just you. Instead of having a simple conversation you have to find reason for sarcasm.
Compared to other threads, this thread was straight forward & has a simple valid point.
I shall repeat it... Years ago, Apple decided to use a small i for their products. Why they didnt use a capital is beyond myself when it should be. Iphone, Imac, Ipad & Ipod.
Simple thread made bad by a couple of people from gFY.....
