Don't know if I'd recommend anyone to orchiddesigns or not... I was going to,
was looking around there and found something wrong with there site... and the response I got form them was....
must be me because there site was perfect and they had gotten alot of work from it...
That's like telling me something does not work when am setting here using it.... and you keep telling me NO it does not work... I tell you but am using it....

In support of jimmyf I checked out orchiddesignz as well
nice looking site - but it doesn't load all the way in netscape (java errors) - The only reason I tried netscape is because the full page wouldn't load in my IE - and there was no scroll bar, so I couldn't see the whole page. (this is the main index page)
I like their designs though - text is fresh - a new look .. not bad at all
I'm looking for someone to redesign 2 of my paysite tours - I wrote one company here on the board, but they never got back with me (2 days is long enough for an answer from anyone)gramma at ix.netcom.comComment

I have made layout changes that resulted in my traffic dropping 50K in under 24 hours, and I have also made changes that resulted in my traffic going up over 100K in 72 hours.
For script driven trade sites, large traffic swings are not only possible, but the norm. Change a color here, a font face/style there, and you either reap the rewards, or scramble to upload an older design.
So 13k to 42k in 3 days is not a wild boast. If Sensei wasn't a niche site, the changes would have been more dramatic.Comment

orchiddesigns site isn't working with Netscape and i knew that before i was making it
Everybody knows that when it comes to new internet technologies like javascript, CSS, vbscript, dynamic HTML, etc. Netscape is the worst browser to use. Since Netscape gave up and decided not to compete with IE anymore (and they were too far from IE anyways) I lost any interest in Netscape.... Around 10% of surfers are using NS according to the info i have. But i'm not concentrating on surfers. I do business with webmasters, paysite owners and companies - they usually use the newest browsers, software and hardware and also good internet connections. according to my logs 98% of people who visited orchiddesigns.com use 1024x768 resolution and IE5.5 + browsers so it could be that somebody could not see the site like it should look. The site looks good using 800x600 resolution as i tested it on few different PC's.... or maybe i configured my browser not to look like other guys do (like having windows task bar of 3 lines instead of one).....
So i see nothing wrong with the site.
We can make a discussion about that if anyone wishes

SpyCam's design is excellent. The design and the trades are very important in a tgp. Then it comes the quality of stuff listed. With a wrong design now it's impossible for a tgp to do well.Comment

I can't speak from the adult end of the internet b/c I haven't been here long enough, but on the other end it certainly can. Too many people mistakenly believe the actual content of any website solely decides the popularity. That is absolutely wrong. The way you deliver it can and will account for traffic swings either way.Originally posted by Dax

maybe others think wrong, but if you want to start a site and have money - go with good scripts, reliable host and good looking design. that's will save you time, money and nerves...
I know how productivity rises when i put new design so if you really have no idea how to make a good looking and fast loading site - you better do not copy from others...
first of all lots of shitty HTML editors together with poork knowledge of HTML can make the site load much slower than it should be so you're loosing clicks.
I always optimize all of my designs, not only graphics, but HTML too, i know what unused tags i can delete and set CSS so it saves 20-50% of file size....

well, when more people say my site looks wrong... i would take care... because one guy emailed me few days ago (he probably was jimmyf) so i thought he's the one, because nobody else told me they can't read the site. the site is online for half of a year or so...
