True true, but it's a really good 'art' job, it may not have to be removed...however removing a tag from the wall results in having a new tag within a week.
Banksy is a hero of modern day sorts. He speaks out against the wrongs. I love the stunts he pulls to shine light on current issues. Good for him. Also like the cloak and dagger style interviews he gives. He's like a super hero protecting his true identity.
I think his stuff is amazing, lots of thought and deep meanings to it all, i like that
there is so many crimes out there that hurt and cheat and steal and make peoples lives miserable, death everywhere....and some guy spray paints som clever art on walls and people spend so much time on it
its not real graff if it uses stencils, any idiot can do that.
Really? Do you have any clue how difficult it is to make a decent stencil, let alone the complex stencils that he makes? Besides, he does stuff aside from stencils.
And graffiti is leaving your mark on a place that wasn't intended to be marked. Stencils, tags, pieces, it doesn't matter.
I still don't really care for what he does. Tho he's made me chuckle in the past. I still don't think he's doing anything that anyone listens to. Or at least, that changes anything.

Why does he need to change anything? He makes people think, which is a lot more than 99% of graffiti artists out there can say for themselves. Hell, most traditional artists can't even say that for themselves.

actually, every time he creates a piece there is social commentary on the piece that is presented with every article about that piece

But in a town that takes its animal welfare very seriously, some took exception to the presence of the elephant. On entering, visitors were presented with a flyer reading: 'There's an elephant in the room. There's a problem we never talk about. The fact is that life isn't getting any fairer. 1.7 billion people have no access to clean drinking water. 20 billion people live below the poverty line. Every day hundreds of people are made to physically be sick by morons at art shows telling them how bad the world is but never actually doing something about it. Anybody want a free glass of wine?'

Yes i know how easy it is to make any stencil from a picture, transfered onto a piece of plastic and have it heat pressed out for precision.
yes I know how easy it is to make 3 different layers and place 1 over another and spray.
