for those that are experiencing issues with the whole bashing thing on the pages that you made him remove your content. i would pursue slander and defamation of character suits. he cannot use your serps to bashyour company when he himself is the infringer.Comment

If that is the case, AFF is profiting from copyrighted material. They are just as liable as BulletinBoardForum.i'm sure you've all noticed this before - but it's pretty funny - you have to register at aff before you can go to the VIP forums:

Without a way to monetize their ventures content thieves would not be in business. It must be clear by now that the sponsors who allow them to do so, pay no attention whatsoever to threads like these. So how much longer before legitimate operators in this industry recognize that boycotting such sponsors is the only alternative to accepting content theft and the like?
If it is a nonsense for a sponsor to see his content being used so that someone can (primarily) promote another sponsor, then it must be also be a nonsense for that sponsor to work with affiliates who promote the offending sponsor(s), even if they do so by fair means.
Sites relying on stolen content, scumware and the rest undoubtedly generate significant income. But it is a fraction of the income earned by the industry as a whole and in most cases not extra income at all, but income which would be earned anyway, either by other affiliates or directly by the sponsors themselves.
Appealing to professional good sense hasn't worked, but if sponsors who support black-hat sites began to lose a significant part of their income from other sources, it would surely not be long before they began to re-think their policies. If that upsets affiliates who consider only their own immediate situation and not the health of the industry on which we all depend, so be it.Comment

According to Sean and Lars, if the content owners contact them through a form on AFF's site and specify that one of their affiliates is stealing content, AFF will term the account.
This was stated by both of them. In practice, they give their affiliate a warning after the first offense and then they should can the account on the second offense.
Airek and any other content owners whose copyrights are being violated, I urge you to contact AFF and help get this guy's account canned. Here's the contact information as per Lars:
Once you've made your report, please say so here. That way, we can make sure proper action is taken.Originally posted by LegendaryLarsWe will and do respond to any Content holder who contacts us.

all of these companies won't terminate traffic from content thieves or their accounts?Comment

I have no idea if they will or won't. They are currently accepting the traffic and don't seem to mind. I think it is the sponsor's responsibility to make sure they are not profiting off of other people's copyrighted material.Comment

AFF is not going to do the right thing. They don't give a shit about the adult industry or any of us. Lets be honest, besides the Zango thing, their stuff is on almost every torrent and password trading site on the web. Their ads appear on sites and forums that rip members areas. It's a big chunk of their income and they have never budged on their stance.
Sure they'll make some empty promise on the boards, but they are who they are. They'll buy some guys drinks and they'll defend them to the death because Lars put his arm around them in a photo. They are not your friends and they hurt almost every program and affiliate out there.
Now I'll say that I'm not going to bash them for ethics or whatever. They can do what they want and it's their business plan. I just get sick of people claiming how great they are and what stand-up dudes they all are. Fact is they could give a fuck about you or your program.Comment

in all fairness, i have only contacted GGW because the infringer was using our images to send to them. they did the right thing.
i have not contacted aff or anyone else about the banners or anything on any pages other than the traffic out to GGW on the page that I was on.
thats a bigger battle than i am prepared to fight on my own. getting all of those sponsors to take that guy out will take unity; something this industry is not known for and i am about pretty much tired of preaching. i am not this industries keeper and i fear that my days of trying to help it are numbered. no one listens, no one cares.
i will always continue to do what is best for the affiliates, but until people want to start uniting to take on some of the issues that this industry has, i am no longer going to take on people one on one. the efforts are futile as many before have experienced with this exact infringing site.

I know this, Im being sarcastic . People talk tough here but when they see people from aff they are all nice to them. Im going to cybernext, I get approached by anyone from aff I will tell them to stick their business card up their ass. The one I dont get is Elli she is a sweet girl had her own site knows how much work it is to make a buck but works for a company that feeds off thieves. shame.AFF is not going to do the right thing.
