    Just got Back From Seeing 300 In IMAX

    Damn that was a great movie, if you have a Imax near you i suggest you go see check this movie out on it. The special effects were awesome and the action was out of control, well worth the $14.50 to see it on Imax.

    This movie wont dissapoint, overall it was a blood filled, action packed movie with outrageous special effects that was well worth seeing

                      We had to get tickets early in the week, and the only show that was left was the midnight show last night. All the shows were sold out, and i think they were sold out into monday. It was killer on Imax the blood, the killing , the special effects were so much better on a 75 foot tall screen

                          The entire movie was shot in a wharehouse in Montreal. Then all the computer imaging took place up North of Montreal by the same group of people that did Sin City.

                              Made in 60 days for only $60 Million. Considering the fact it'll make over $500 Million worldwide in the end, I think the trend will be to make interesting CGI movies with low paid actors, and promote the hell out of them on the internet. Wave of the future.

                                                                              I didn't read the thread because I haven't seen it yet. But movies like this really piss me off that we don't have an IMAX theater in San Diego that plays movies. We have an actual theater in our science museum at Balboa Park but they only play documentaries and educational films.

                                                                              Really sucks. I would have loved to see Star Wars in IMAX too.
