    Barefootsies DDOS attack

    PLEASE READ:

    My website is under DDoS attack!! I know who is behind it, and have referred all their personal information, and background information to the FTC and DOJ.



    I am not spamming you! As you can plainly see, there is no hosting plan offered for this site. No place to sign up for any service.

    Please forward your e-mails received, COMPLETELY WITH HEADER INFORMATION (showing the back tracking info) to [email protected].

    They need to track down this Ukrainian spammer. Please forward this information to your IT person.

    This DDoS attack has been going on since 3/28/2008 and we are doing everything we can to report all information gathered to the FTC, and Anti Spam departments at the DOJ.
    these days you can get these services done at indian rates.

    I lol'd at the FTC and DOJ. like they would give a shit.

    btw found a few XSS / SQL vulnerabilities. might help to patch those shit up.

                          first of all, nobody is fucking stupid enough to leave a fresh IP trail to a complete noob and retard like barefootsies.

                          Usually DDOS done with botnets. So unless you actually discovered the central node where the bots receive command and report (which is impossible for someone like barefootsies), you wouldn't be able to tell the exact origin of attack because you would be flooded from a wide range of IPs.

                          These days, there are more sophisticated ways of running DDOS. Twitter is often used to direct and control botnets (parse your twitters). Some even have distributed command centers, making it more difficult to take out the botnet.

                          IF one was to have done DDOS, it makes perfect sense to shift the blame game on to third world countries where US jurisdiction won't apply. Of course the victim thinks other wise

                          But assume the origin of attack WAS from ukraine. Don't you think DOJ and FTC have bigger cases to worry about then a shitty porn site getting DDOS ?

                          BF. If you seriously think DOJ or FTC would even bother to get involved and come to gfy and lie to everybody about it, I think that's fucked up.

                                          was gonna post the URL of the vulnerabilities but fuck it, seems like DOJ and FTC have resolved it !

                                          I wonder if you can't even stop DDOS attack (as you admitted it has been going on since 2009 lol), how will you come across as a credible and safe web hosting provider ?

                                                              You are correct in the sense that web http proxies are not anonymous, and quite dangerous for relying on anonymity. Tor offers good anonymity, as it routes you through random Tor nodes, and regularly switches routing across the globe. You can choose preferred nodes by country as well (China & Russia).

                                                              If one uses Tor and something like Twitter to control botnets, it is extremely difficult (close to impossible) to identify the attacker's origin.
