sure can and i was doing so. but that has zero effect until the food is digested and converted to glucose, etc. takes at least 30 minutes to even begin to start feeling better, and a couple hours + overall. in the meantime, if the reaction is a bad one, there is no energy, about to passout, etc., not to mention it's a scary situation to be in.Comment

The last job I had my boss was diabetic and the only real warning you would get as another person that his sugar was all wonky was he would get angry and sleepy. Was always surprised at how quickly some chocolate and a glass of milk could fix him but it did bother me a bit that he really was rubbish at regularly eating to control it

I posted a thread about being offended that a cashier greeted the person in front of me but then didn't greet me. Plus I made another one complaining about being addressed by a title by a cashier. I just hate dealing with cashiers.

Once stores that offer this service offer me a discount for using it, I will start. Until then, those fuckers can bag my shit all night long. The only thing you're doing by using the self checkout is making the store more money. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it seems analogous to paying full service prices to pump your own gas.
