    Something *new* for Danni.com [pics]

    Hi gang - I was going for something a little different than your used to seeing from me in these pics of the delicious Carli Banks. A little dark & edgy and not so soft & pretty. These were shot a few weeks back for the folks at Danni.com.

      but honestly.

      i do not like it what so ever.

      your lighting is amazing, the shots u take, breath taking. i look forward to how well light ever shot you take is. i consider you one of the best.

      this look isnt what you do well, imho.

          It's grainy. It's semi-dirty. It's back alley jerk off and kind of hoping someone catches you. I love it. As gorgeous and pristine as she is, you came across with the point I believe you intended. Correct me if I am wrong.

          Screaming? Never question a master. It may not appeal to you personally but look beyond. It's there, and it's fucking awesome.

              Not your best work...

              So do you know anything about why your thread from last week was deleted? The one where Shap revealed that you were let go early from your Twisty's contract (to put it nicely).

              I've seen threads closed infrequently on GFY, but I was unaware that they were deleted altogether (especially after reaching 3 pages).

              Maybe the mod that deleted the thread can shed some light as to why the entire thread was deleted, instead of one or two offending posts (whichever those were - certainly not mine), and why has there been no explanation regarding why it occured in the first place?

              I'm not a big fan of censorship, and up until the thread was deleted, I had not seen any posts which broke any rules, therefore I think it is reasonable for someone to step forward with an honest explanation.

I'll never be able to do this "well" if I don't put some time and effort into experimenting with it and getting some feedback on it from people like you. Anyone who really knows me...knows that I love trying new things and this is one of those things. I have no plans to change the style that I've been shooting - but I do want to be able to shoot a wider variety of looks. Some girls will look better with a more edgy treatment and some girls look better with a soft & pretty treatment.                               I think you may be putting your personal likes and dislikes into your post and not thinking about the big picture. I may be new here but I have seen Dean's work in the past and I would in no way call him a porn photog. He is an artist with a canvas that comes in the form of a camera. Wonder Twins power activate

                              All kidding aside, his work is unprecedented ands is up there with Playboy/Penthouse material. I really enjoy these photos. I would like to see the entire shoot because I am assuming it can only get better.

                                  Lawrence...Shap was way out of line by discussing our personal and confidential business on this board. I posted 3 HUGE replies to Shaps post that I knew would without question send Shap over the edge. After I posted the replies and took a minute to read back thru them, I decided that if I left those posts there, I would be lowering myself to Shaps level of playing dirty. I'm a better person than that. I'm more professional and more respectful. I then contacted a moderator and asked that the thread be deleted. It wasn't because of what Shap posted, it was because of what I posted in response to Shap.

                                  When Shap and I parted ways he said that it was important to him that we had no issues with each other. That we didn't talk about each other negatively in public and that we try to be as respectful and professional as possible regarding the others public image. The fact that Shap came here on this public board and started putting our personal and confidential business on display for everyone to see should tell you a lot about doing business with Shap. I'm not the one who posts negative stuff about him - he's the one who posted negative stuff about me.

                                  Regarding Shaps comments about my contract - he is going to tell you whatever he needs to tell you to make me look bad and to make himself look good. Just remember that there are always two sides to a story.

                                  I think it's a damn shame that Shap would come here and say anything negative about doing business with me and try to ruin my name & reputation especially when you think about how dedicated I was to him this past year. I worked my ass off this past year for Twistys. I've never given so much of my time, effort, blood sweat & tears to anyone like I did for Twistys this past year. Shap has some of the best content that I've ever produced in my entire life and still he is not happy. And it makes him even more unhappy when I post pictures that I shot for his competitors and the pictures get 3 pages of positive comments.

                                                                                                  Sounds more like you made an ass of yourself, and then tried to cover up that you aren't as professional and respectful as you try to make people believe, and you said some rather mean-spirited things to someone who is well-respected, and has acheived much more in this business than you probably ever will.

(Not that I approve of that either...many of us would like to take back comments made in the heat of the moment, but few run crying to the mods, requesting that an entire thread be deleted - and shame on whomever the mod was that acquiesed to your typically self-centered request).

I read early in the post someone didn't like them ..something about them being grainy .. kinda part of the shot I would think.... I have a pretty good idea how you shot them .. and props to you ..I think you got exactally what you were looking for ..... i happen to like them very much .. now i have to go try and emulate lol....

Your work is stunning, and this stuff looks far cooler than he's making out. It's hot, stylish, dark, dirty. I love it. Hell, I would... look at our site, and you'll probably see the connection between the style of our stuff and your latest shots of Carli.

                                                                                                                                      Honestly, one man's good is another's bad. This is some of the coolest work I've seen you post.

                                                                                                                                      Don't stop doing this stuff, and don't listen to the haters who can't open their mind. Bright glossy glamour work is fine, but doing shoots like this are what makes a guy more diverse.

The grungy/gritty effect really gives the series a "voyeuristic" edge and makes it more than just a bunch of pretty pictures.
