I'd be willing to bet money that every single site that advertises with them uses the last set cookie to track sales. So if a sponsor doesnt use cookies, they're almost certainly not interested in it. IMHO anyway.

Well, to be fair we didn't just make a statement about it.

Before all this kicked off at GFY, we met with AffiliateFairPlay, they scanned all related sites, competitors and our own for Zango promoters, and gave us the tools to implement in the back end to alert us to anyone using it on our network.

We wanted to make sure we had our affiliates' backs covered, so were more proactive than just making a statement about it.

Some programs don't take Zango traffic, but have affiliates that buy it for resell. Others, such as Lars, are "forced" to buy it.

I think the next "target" needs to be sponsors who cross-sell or use consoles which feature Zango users. If you are pushing thousands of surfers onto sites which do support Zango, to all practical intents and purposes you are supporting Zango yourself.

When all this Zango hoopla came about, I mentioned CECash using it & they denied it, was maybe an affiliate using zango to send them traffic.. who knows.. I don't remember the discussion, but it would be here on GFY if you could find the thread....
