Conditions that wouldn't occur naturally, where?
Somewhere on this earth, and at all points, we have every kind of conditions you can imagine. From frozen sub-arctic wintery Hells like North Dakota or Antarctica, to pristine perfectly beautiful paradises like Hawaii and the Caribbean, and everything in between. Weed grown indoors is getting a steady water supply and artificial light. That's not hard to replicate naturally in a lot of places. It's not a "lab" so much as it is a greenhouse.

Marijuana is a "value-changing drug". Once you smoke it regularly your mind expands and your synapses unlock and parts of your brain that have never been used or seen the light of day start coming through, and your values actually CHANGE. From aggressive to, well, any number of non-violent alternatives.
Money + aggression keep marijuana illegal.

I was at a movie night party (Terry Gilliam's 'Brasil') at a friend's loft near Union Square. Hash and beer and six differant Indian dishes (delivered). Fan-bloody-tastic. Then, to get to the Subway (the transit system, not the hoagie place) I had to pass three differant bakeries still open at 10 pm on a Friday night (beat THAT Middle America!) before deciding on the 24-hour Donut Pub on w.14th St. 3 donuts, a cranberry muffin and apple turnover (for breakfast) later and it was off to home.
Yup, NYC rules. Oh, and now a toke:

WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ADVOCATE A USE OF A DRUG?
Am I proud that I almost constantly drank every evening for a period of two years?
I'm seriously ashamed, I never did and never will be advocating that, I take it as a major failure of self control, and I don't look for any alibi, it doesn't matter if I was depressed as hell, if I went through major tragedies, there's no excuse and nothing helped till I cleaned my act.
But why in the world does every marijuana smoker feel the need to advocate its use?
Why do they have to preach the pot evangelium all the time?
Why do they feel the need to memorize hundreds of pages of text just to support the use of a drug?
Why can't they just smoke at home and not TALK about it at every possible occassion?

I haven't touched pot in 8 years, mostly because I'm constantly interrogated
via sonic weapons and it would be uncool, but I wrote this last week..
Getting pissed and being violent, abusive, murderous, rapists, vandelists, slurring, puking,
stinking, dangerous driving, hungover heathens is LEGAL and ENCOURAGED by peers!
Yet smoking a joint and sitting around in a circle talking peace is ILLEGAL!
In 10 years ALL drug dealers will be imprisoned, the government could read your mind 20 years ago and pop all your confessions in a millisecond without you even knowing. Crime will be a thing of the past.
Don't let simple pot be banned. It's as dangerous as a cigarette but you might have 2 joints a month instead of 20 a day.

Karl Marx was a 19th century philosopher. His knowledge was primitive compared to what we know today. Dont think that Marx was god and socialism/communism is perfection.
You know which big mistakes Marx made?
1. He believed he knows the perfect society - proletarian dictatorship.
Truth is --- there is no perfect society. As humans learn more, we better understand what is a "good" and "bad" society. It is absolutely foolish to think that 19th century marxism is the ultimate society. There can always be something better --- even if we dont know it yet.
2. Marx believed every other system is inferior to proletarian dictatorship. Marx wrote, do whatever is necessary to achieve a proletarian dictatorship because it is the best system. This means stopping/destroying anyone who may have better ideas. It means not allowing society to change into anything better than proletariatian dictatorship. This is a huge huge mistake. The result is guys like fidel castro, who blind themselves to anything other than proletarian dictatorship. That is why Cuba became so primitive. Too many people are blind (or afraid) and their brains stopped learning and advancing. Too many people can not accept that anything could be better than proletarian dictatorship. It's like when a very religious person can not accept that his books about god may be wrong. This type of person can not advance in wisdom.
Finally, it's very dangerous to tell people to rebel and revolt. They may have different ideas and goals than you. I believe that revolution should be from bottom to top (not top to bottom). It means, first, convince the people to change and if enough people like your ideas, then they will "convince" their government to change (peacefully). If you can not convince enough people to want change, then you dont deserve change. It means not enough people like your ideas (or they dont understand) and you should not force your ideas onto the world, if most people dont like it (or dont understand).Comment
