My first car was this 1968 Volvo I bought for $500 when I was 20.
That thing was a machine and I drove it all over Florida to party and surf. Worked all week and then took off for the weekend and it never left me stranded. Surf racks on top but my favorite feature of the car was both front seats fully reclined and matched up perfectly with the back seat to form one big bed. That came in real handy in those free wheelin days of the 70s
Yes, the bumper sticker says " Gas or Ass nobody rides free "

I got my first car at 17... it was used and from my mother ... an AMC Rambler
I had that until I bought my first brand new car... a Honda Civic... and I had that before anyone even knew that Honda made cars
all my mother's friends kept asking her why I bought a bike, they thought I should buy a car first
