    6th Grade Students Fuck In Shop Class While 10 Others Watched And Teacher Present

    Not even Teh BoyAlley could make something like this up:

    "...during school hours in a classroom with an experienced teacher present, two sixth graders completed the act of intercourse...at least ten students were witnesses. No disciplinary actions were taken against the teacher... All teachers were told to keep quiet."

    Middle school students having sex in a busy classroom while a teacher is present? Warren Township Associate Superintendent Jeff Swensson confirmed it's true. It's been kept under wraps since November.

    Times sure have changed since I was in Jr. Highschool. No public sex shows were going on when I was in shop class.

    Using the Bush administration's logic, I expect several Republican Senators to soon come forward offering legislation to ban shop class in public schools.

                              I think the point, is that kids are having sex at younger and younger ages, whether society likes it or not. I also think it's shown that the Bush Administration's policies of abstinence only education are dangerous ones.

                              If kids are going to have sex, whether adults talk to them about it or not, I think it's rational to think that they should be educated about how to conduct themselves in a safe way, don't you?

                              I agree with Syl, I sure as hell wasn't thinking about sex in 6th grade, much less could even have IMAGINED performing public sex shows for my fellow students?!?!?! Something is a muck-a-muck........

                                                              A teacher touch a student forget it,I remember being a kid .Me and my best friend were doing something we werent supposed to be doing and his mother smacked both of us. Now back then if I went home and told my mother I would of gotten smacked again. My friend got beat by a nun in school , he went home told his father he got beat again. His father said what did you do to drive that poor woman to have to hit you.Its a different world and I dont know if its for the better.

                                                                                                  Abstinence means NO SEX lol how can that be dangerous? You are saying lets just make having sex as children acceptable, now to me THATS dangerous.

Shop classes I had were huge with machines and shit you could easily hide behind, not a huge challenge here. There was another kid that was acting as a lookout for the kids having sex. And as far as hiding it? That isn't really that hard. She wears a skirt and he has pants or jeans on where he just upzips and whips it out. Besides lets not forget that these are 11-12 year olds. So I doubt COMPLETING the act took very long.

I think more of the issue is education in what the ramifications are if you do have sex, and give valid reasons why it is good to wait and do these things in a safe environment. Right now they are wanting to beat these kids in the head with NO SEX and when the kids asks why they are told "Cause you will burn in Hell." Kid don't buy that bullshit any more.

                                                                                                              Shop classes usually aren't that big since there isn't enough machinery to go around. So if you suddenly have 10 kids watching something in the corner and it's not some master carpentry wouldn't you go check out what's going on?

                                                                                                                  That is a very good point... kids curiosity will lead them to dicover things themselves, but atleast if you educate them on the consequences of their actions you might be able to prevent some teenage pregnancies and the spread of std's.

                                                                                                                  But I have to say I definitely was not thinking of sex in 6th grade... however things are different today...

                                                                                                                      I had a science teacher in 7th grade, the guy had a phd in physics, but was a terrible authority figure to be in a junior high teaching. At one point kids were snorting lines of drugs in the back of the lab. Others would throw knives at the bulletin board on the wall, and even pull them out and do it again. He just never took notice.

                                                                                                                      It was a really exciting class. I even got an A.

To continue to be pacifists and accept society to believe "oh things are different today" we will never change it and it will get younger and younger. The taboos are being broken on a daily basis there are very few lines left to be crossed. This sort of stuff will be extremely commonplace one day if we continue as a society just "accept" the fact that kids want sex earlier and earlier. The reason kids are having sex earlier and earlier is because by "accepting" this behavior society is sending a message that its ok.

I think kids need to be better educated on sex. The schools don't want to teach it and a lot of parents talk to their kids about it to late. They need to get the proper information on birth control. No one says kids should have sex, but if they are going to do it at least they will be prepared.

                                                                                                                                      I did not think of sex in the 6th grade either, but times have changed. They see it all over the place, and they are starting puberty. So it is natural to be curious.
