Hey guys, i got a tgp site, with a few galleries and it runs slow at time, and i see other sites with 10 x's the content and text and it loads quicker. Do they compress images or what. Is it my hosting i need to change? any help would be nice on how to get my site running faster.

Your sponsor should have hosted preview images for each gallery! Just use there URL and load time is virtually instant!Comment

If it's Pornstar Cabaret it might be a design issue, I only checked the code pretty quckly but it appears that most content is in the same table including a lot of 3rd party ads from AFF, AEBN & Cams, if one of these loads slow it can affect how some browsers displays the page while loading, Firefox showed the top thumbs pretty fast while IE took forever to that table.
The thumbs can also be optimized in size, many of the thumbs are over 10kb and can probably be downsized by 30-50% without any noticable difference. I use Ulead Smartsaver for these kind of tasks on my TGPs but there are a lot of similar apps.Comment

I do not compress them but I make sure to crop them with the right software in order to avoid big sizes. I use PhotoShop and AcdSee for that and everything seems to work ok.ICQ: 454148504Comment
