                          Kyuss was before QOTSA. Josh Hommes was the guitarist of Kyuss. And Nick Oliveri played the bass for them once.

                          QOTSA isn't half as good as Kyuss though. They are the pop-version of Kyuss.

                                  QOTSA Pop?? Not untill there latest release, not a huge of it but R and Songs for the deaf pop. I don't think so.
