I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?
exactly...it just seemed too forced to fit some kind of storyline for a movie
unfortunately he is too overexposed so let's hope for bruno!
well, I think the issue totally comes in when you take a 6 minute character and do 90 minutes of comedy featuring only him
if you could take Borat the Movie and splice out the "in between" shots and just feature the inner "skits" of the movie, then it would well worth the effort to watch again, but there was so much fluff and time wasting parts that it wasn't near as good as I they hyped it up to be
Fear not, that Borat DVD you bought at Best Buy is not pirated, although appearances are somewhat deceiving.
As it turns out the DVD release of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was made to look low-budget. Apparently there is not a word of english on the packaging. The DVD cover also appears to look color-copied (complete with off color tones, slightly blurred company logos, blurry text and moire pattern/lithographic scans. Now that?s funny.

jep jep...
I was totally hyped before the movie came out
the cut scenes like the one in the store with the cheese and many more that came out on youtube...I was laughing my ass off...I watched them soooo many times...
Borat has already grossed over $250 million worldwide before the DVD has even his the market. Not bad for a movie that only cost about $18 million to produce...
I love seeing this thread just after the CBC announced today that Canada is responsible for $6 billion dollars of lost revenues as a result of bootlegged movies, lol.
