I've been trying for some time to get an iPhone pre-ordered from Apple but with no luck.

On AT&T's site tho I can add it to cart and check out, but I know from experience of doing this before (with the iPhone 3G) it was a disaster and took weeks for me to get the phone.

Anyone else do this?
