I know a person who owns Murano. He's not very happy and going to change the car for something more seriouse. He wanted the car for its' appearence, but now he feels he'd like to have something else.
But those are his feelings about the car. No facts that it's bad.

Not to sound stupid, I am pretty sure we were one of the first people to get a Murano. AND WE LOVE IT! No one had even heard of them on the east coast and we'd never see them around. For about 3 months we had only seen a couple and then they starting sprouting up everywhere. We were in Vegas at the time we bought it.
I have test drove the Lexus SUVs, Infiniti, rode in the Mercedes and no lie, the Murano is the most comfortable. It has more leg room than anything holy.
The other thing is it is really smooth, there is no shift.
I definitely recommend. The other reason we got it is because it was the most gas efficient out of the SUVs.
Ive had one since October and love it. If you decide on getting one make sure you get the AWD. The CVT transmission took a few weeks to get use to, but its a smooth ride.
I love the FX45 and it's built on the same platform. I used to buy Acura's but recently decided that Honda was just as nice and less money. it's the same thing with Infinity and Nissan. I hear they are great CrossOver and a great alternative to the Mini Van or big SUV. I'd take it for a ride if i was you
personally, i would spend the extra and get the FX35/45 from Infiniti. I drove one a while ago when i was thinking of getting one and loved the FX way better than the Nissan verson
The car is Continuously Variable Transmission like in the dodge caliber and according to some people it is pretty crappy. However the murano handels like a sports car better then the bmw x5 which comes pretty close to good car handaling but not that of a sports car. Murano is a one fun suv to drive in my opinion. The Infiniti is a copy of the Nissian.. The Infiniti has less leg room, costs more, is the same exact car other than it has a v8 and gets worse gas millage. The Nissian can get the same packages as the Infiniti other than the v8, and at least 10k more.
The Nissian can hit 150mph and the front end stays on the ground, and the take off power is almost the same. The tranny is fine, it sucks a small amount of power at shift but it's fully smooth, we haven't any problems, and it has 60k+ miles in a few years and still gets 22mpg
Umm... the Murano has more leg room than any other mid sized suv. You would have to be 7 foot+ to not fit in a Murano. I'm 6' 2" and can make it so I can't touch the gas.
And the wifes 6'6" boss has plenty of leg room in the Nissian.
