gotta give them credit, they are taking action and voting. that's more than what ~70% of the population does.

You cant get much more left than Max Blumenthal, he him self is a radical left wing psycho so its odd that he pokes fun at others when most of his constituents have abandoned him over the years for the same reason. Say what you want about the Tea Party but they got out the vote and had a clean sweep yesterday, come November the burn is going to sting pretty heavy for those on the hard left

No no no!! How DARE they gather together to protest out of control government! They should just stick to working, paying taxes, and taking whatever the government deigns to give them.... leave the government to the political elite that know WAY better than them!!!

You obviously don't understand this vital point.

Tell that to the German Jew in '33 .... "...give the Nazis credit they're taking action and voting ... extermination could be cool."

Tea party members are not Nazis I know this ... Just comparison thinking to the idea that bullshit idiocy is praised on the merits of so called "action".

The problem is too many americans are happy with mediocracy and praise any change rather then actual change that will better their lives. You would rather grease the squeaky wheel rather then replace it with a new and better one.

Yes they should thats called living day to day lives. Its decides not whatever you wrote. I mean you were told to "go to work live your lives" when your government told you ... yes told you ... you had to go to war in Iraq to avoid imminent attack from WMD's. The people protesting that were called traitors. Those people had, what we know now for 100% FACT, legit claims there were no WMD's as apposed to the tea baggers ramblings of bigotry and government oppression.

I guarantee that if anyone of these teabaggers were approached by special interest and were offered huge $$ to vote against there principals 75% would. There in lies your governments problems. Its not that they think they KNOW BETTER its that they don't think at all and are paid to think by corporate america ... this goes for both parties.

I don't think there idiots .. I think they are retarded ... I think it idiocy to think that using the system is worthy of praise just for the act itself. Using the system with meaningful reform or actual fact based concerns is worthy of praise.

                              sure.
you are comparing the tea baggers vote with the outcome/consequences of elections in nazi germany in the 30s.
you think tea baggers are retarded and therefore should not be allowed to vote due to the outcome of that vote.

certainly you can see how hypocritical that is in light of your nazi analogy.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                                  think about that

These people weren't out protesting when Bush was doing billion/trillion dollar bailouts.. of course Bush started most of the bailouts that happened. Yeah, nobody protested his extreme run away spending, let alone his war crimes, murder of a leader, out right lies and basically everything Obama has done, he has done and then some.

It's odd... the only difference really is, race.

                                        speaking of bridges

                                        2005.

Republicans control the White House and both houses of Congress. Early on a Saturday morning in August ? the day of the week, and the month of the year, least likely to attract media attention ? President Bush signed into law a highway bill passed by his own party with more than 6,000 earmarked projects.

Bush signed the bill after sternly telling his party he'd veto any highway bill that spent more than $256 billion. He promptly "adjusted" that figure to $284 billion after complaints from party leaders. The bill Bush ultimately signed came at a price of $286 billion, $295 billion if you count a few provisions disguised to make the bill look cheaper than it actually is. Not exactly holding the line.

The Republican Party's wholesale abandonment of limited government principles has been on display since President Bush took office. Government spending under the GOP's reign has soared to historic highs, any way you want to measure it. And in stark contrast to President Reagan ? or even the president's own father?President Bush refuses to rein in spending. He hasn?t used his veto a single time since taking office ? the longest such streak in U.S. history.

What continues to amaze, however, is the sheer arrogance and hubris with which the Republicans have chosen to govern. As Congressman Jeff Flake ? one of the few principled Republicans in Washington ? told the Washington Post, "Republicans don't even pretend anymore."

Consider that highway bill. The bill calls for nearly half a billion dollars to build two bridges in Alaska. One will connect the Alaskan mainland with a tiny island called Gravina (population: 50). It will cost U.S. taxpayers $230 million. In fact, when it comes to pork barrel politics, Alaska is the new West Virginia. That's because Alaska Rep.Don Young chairs the transportation committee. The transportation bill is named after Young's wife. The second bridge the bill appropriates money for ? another $230 million ? will be called "Don Young Way."

it is not even built ... lol

Construction on the bridge is expected to begin in 2010 and continue until 2013.
                                              and it was a bi-partisan project :

? Rep. Porter actively worked to get funding for this project, voted in favor of the legislation, and sent out press releases claiming credit.

? Senator Ensign supports federal funding for the new bridge and took credit for the $500,000 earmark in FY04 in two press releases

? Trent Franks, the Congressman who represents Bullhead City, AZ, supports federal funding of this new bridge. Franks is ranked the 5th most conservative member in the House and is member of the Republican Study Committee, but he voted yes on final passage of this legislation.

? Gov. Kenny Guinn supports the Laughlin Bridge: ?I have been and remain strongly supportive of the development of a second bridge over the Colorado River in Laughlin. A new bridge is badly needed to address the overflow of traffic that is now streaming through Laughlin and over the Colorado River as a result of travel limitations that were put on the Hoover Dam and Davis Dam after the attacks of September 11, 2001.? fun teabagger game:

ask your local tea bagger if the government should cut spending

when they say yes, show them this and ask where alot of spending could be cut from

The second bridge the bill appropriates money for ? another $230 million ? will be called "Don Young Way."

the tea party has formed? i wasn't aware it's now a legitimate party in our 2 party system, thx for the update!
you know better, they aren't a party, they just call them selves one on the name. They say they are against all out of control spending, I'm with them on that. I see the big push with the GOP to get back to conservative roots. I also see that has made a difference this last Tuesday. We'll see what it does in November, but I see alot of incumbents packing their bags. Back to the Tea Party, I hope they can pull together some kind of structure or they will fall apart. I would hate to see that

Unemployment rate went up and stayed there, he fucked that up. The only new jobs are government jobs that put a bigger tax burden on those that STILL have jobs!

These people are made of of a bunch of citizens that are pissed, yeah, some may be racially motivated, so what? Why do you think Obama is against the Arizona law? Why does he want to make them citizens? Because the Mexican voters will vote for his party.
Letting the Mexican President bash Arizona in front of congress, I would have stood up and told him to fuck off! Good thing IM not a congressman!
I don't give a flying fuck what party is in control as long they work for the country and do some good, 94 to 2000 was pretty good, we had GOP controled house and senate and a dem for a president, even though that asshat bypassed congress and the senate to loan Mexico over 20 billion dollars with the help of Goldman Sachs, they made money on that, but thats the kinda shit that bothers me.

I'm not happy with what Bush did, but let it rest and clean up the mess, Obama has just made it worse
