    note to you guys who use hotmail in this biz

    hey there,

    was not sure where to post this so here goes....
    There have been people in the last few days who are using a hotmail account or forwarding to a hotmail account to signup for our new affiliate program... your signup emails are not gettin to you... hotmail is bouncing them!

    reason
    This is a permanent error. "mx3.hotmail.com" said, "550 Your e-mail was rejected for policy reasons on this gateway. Reasons for rejection may be related to content such as obscene language, graphics, or spam-like characteristics (or) other reputation problems

    Your signup emails include your domain names, alternate email addys... and if your domain names contain words like "pussy" "tgp" "xxx" "free" "porn", etc. they refuse em... I have had to manually remove your domain names and other signup info to even get them to go through... also applies to email forwarded from your domain to your hotmail account. many go to [email protected] then forwarded

    maybe I'm just tired and bitching cuz its takin me so long to go through the bounced ones

    so how many emails are you missing because hotmail did not like them?

                  its almost 7AM, have not slept yet, just tired and complaining about sending and resending signup letters to free email accounts... funny thing is... they bounce them from accounts like xxxhardcore@hotmail.... WTF? they allow that email name... but no copy with those words

                                                  this probably does you more good than bad. probably keeps a lot of surfers out of your affiliate area. what kind of webmaster uses hotmail?

                                                      You should also be wary of gmail since you technically allow 'The Google' to read along on your emails and make notes of what was said.
