    Golf & Blackjack

    Sort of a response to the last couple days of getting slammed about Casino Blackjack.

    I'm 73 and my golfing partner is 68. We carry an 84/88 average for 18 holes. And, we golf 4-5 days a week and do a minimum of 36 holes a day. Many times 45 holes and occasionally 54 holes. But, always minimum 36 holes unless we get caught up in an outing or leagues coming in.

    Now, I suppose the mathemeticians on here will call me a liar on this ... but fuck em.

    Now for the good one.

    Because there was such controversy on my Blackjack statements my buddy and I took yesterday off of golf in the morning and went to the Indian Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan (not far from here). We were there for about 3-4 hours total. First time I played BJ in a Casino for several years but wanted to give Bill Zygots method of play a test once again.

    You CAN win at Blackjack!!!

    We played on the $5/500 table all the time and had 2 different dealers during that 3-4 hour period.

    I came home with $341.00 winnings.
    My partner came home with $184.00 winnings.
    Nuff said???

    We then stopped at our membership golf course to do just 18 holes.
    My partner shot and 81 and I sucked a little bit and shot a 92

    Such is life in the Michigan wilderness of totally sane people.

                                                              Meet us tomorrow at Germania Golf Course in Saginaw, Michigan. Starting at 10am and golfing 36 holes. It's a piece of cake ... and, I love golfing the same as my golfing partner. Do the 54 maybe once a month. Do 45 maybe once a week. ALWAYS do 36 holes on other days. Takes us about 4.5 hours to do so if it isn't crowded, takes about 5.5-6 hours if we tie up with another 2-some to make a 4-some. We have about 6-8 other guys (and 1 woman) that usually golf 36 holes a day. Golf club we belong 2 owns 2 courses accross the street from one another. Most days we do both courses depending on outings and leagues, some days just 36 on one course. Membership costs about $1500 per year, including cart, and we can golf 7 days a week (holidays included) from sunrise to sunset, no restrictions.

                                                              Course we belong to is Crooked Creek Golf course and they own Swan Valley golf course. Call them at 989-781-0050 and ask them if they know Jerry and Dexter and ask them if we golf a lot there. Ask them if we normally golf 36+ holes. Bob, Rick, Chris are the usual counter men. We are very well know in the golfing circles here in mid-michigan.

                                                              Like I said ... piece of cake on 36 holes a day when you love a sport.

                                                                                  I had some interest in your book you're promoting out of curiosity, but I've read just about every well publicized blackjack book in the last 20 yrs and am pretty sure I won't learn anything new. Now to find out your 73 and you claim to have never had a losing session in blackjack ruins any kind of credibility you might have had.

                                                                                      Germainia, which is a course we play maybe twice a year when our courses are blocked with outings and leagues was a 100+ year old German oriented private country club that because of competition went belly up this winter. The city of Saginaw owns it now and it is open to the public for golfing. Have no idea why they let the website go but that really means nothing to me. They are still open to golf and we will be there tomorrow. Also, economics in Saginaw is horrible and they lost private members by the dozens.
