* use a computer to relay or retransmit multiple commercial email messages to deceive or mislead recipients or an Internet access service about the origin of the message
* falsify header information in multiple email messages and initiate the transmission of such messages
* register for multiple email accounts or domain names using information that falsifies the identity of the actual registrant

Before the pundits chime in on the TrustSoft issue, I was employed there at the time of the FTC raid. I know what initiated it. It was a single complaint from a consumer about violatioins of the CAN-SPAM act...which TrustSoft was absolutely *NOT* in violation of. But once the FTC comes through your door they examine EVERYTHING you do -- and they were able to find a lot, resulting in the loss of my employer's fortune.
Of course, at that time the FTC did have a hard on for anything related to "Spyware" so they acted on the single complaint.Comment

Actually PG spams are pretty fucking annoying. I don't seem to get as many now, but at one time I was getting about 15 to 20 a day from the same stupid ass all promoting PG sites.
btw was all to my webmaster e-mail account.. I do love the fact that I get more spam to my webmaster email than I do to my personal one from my ISP.In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment
