I'm sorry, but this is the most uneducated thing I've ever read here. saying the US or California by itself has a better variety than Amsterdam is like saying 2+2=5. Firstly, it's never going to add up and secondly, I can't imagine anyone would every buy into that. Clearly you have never been to Amsterdam.
On another note, what is the point of this argument? Regardless of where the better stuff exists, the US has a War on Drugs and Canada doesn't. Score one for Canada in my opinion.

To be honest...no I've never been myself, but I know people who live there so I have heard what it's all about. My experience with Amsterdam was much different from your obviously; the times that I have been there I found lots of different strains at lots of different places none of which were "ghetto".
I think we also need to consider pricing here too because there is a really big difference between Canada, US, and lets say Amsterdam. The price was my major complaint in Amsterdam, just way too expensive if you go to the coffee shops in my opinion.
Anyways it's all a matter of preference and taste and mostly this is all just usless posturing anyways. what one person likes another person will hate, and we all support our own. I doubt very much that there will ever be a consensus here. But I enjoy the read...so we may as well continue arguing about it
