Obama kinda screwed this up

Was watching the news and they played an interview of the CEO of BP and he said he has NOT talked to the president yet?
What fucking kind of leader would not talk directly to the man in charge of the worse environmental disaster in present history? Too busy entertaining in the WH?
They showed how hay can soak up the oil, a company that helps with leaks around the Arab world contacted the WH on the second day and hasn't' heard back. They also have a fiber blanket sort of thing they can lay down on top of the water and it soaks up all the oil almost instantly.
The sand banks they asked for took 21 days to get approved?

Does Obama hate this country this much?

They also showed a 21 year old girls idea on how to plug the leak, this girl was in college at 8 years old and is now a professor of nanotechnology. I think she's pretty smart and someone should listen to her.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Why would anyone listen to the ideas of scientists and people with experience when we have James Cameron to advise?

You're right, he should have had a meeting with the CEO a while back.

First he invites him to the white house. Then in the middle of the conference being video taped some secret service rush in, hold the CEO down and pour oil all over him and light him on fire.

Then Obama yells "Ha you've been punk'd!" And Ashton Kutcher reveals himself as one of the secret service guys and they all have a good laugh.

But i guess we can only dream....

He got the Nobel Peace prize, yet in the way he treated Israel, he showed the rest of the world that he will not be on their side if war breaks out. Now look at whats going on, people think they can run their blockade. I'll bet that Israel will launch something at Iran soon.
You can debate that all you want, but in 1980 under Carter, we had the Iran Crisis, I was there, as soon as Reagan got the vote, the captives were released. Iran had no respect for Carter and did what they wanted, but under Reagan, they had no choice. Now looking at the news a lot, I would say they have no respect for Obama and are going to do what they want.

I don't see how having that conversation is going to change anything. If the BP CEO goes to the White House, and Obama tells him he's a douche, then what? It still doesn't get the hole plugged. It's just a waste of both of their time.

I saw her plan, it made sense. Giving I know a little about drilling working drill rigs in LA for elevators and being underwater in a submarine and know about how pressure works at that depth, yeah, it's a simple effective idea. But I would have filled the tires with hydraulic oil
