"Cracker" is a slur made by black slaves for white slave masters as in "whip cracker".

The N word was a slur made for the slaves.

A slur is a slur. No slur is any worse than another. Just because some white guy owned slaves 150 years ago doesn't give anybody the right to call me a cracker. NY is made up of many ethnicities and for one group to have a super-word they can get all upset about is bullshit. The big bad N-word is a game played by the black community. It's funny that people are so owned by political correctness they're afraid to say shit about free speech or the First Amendment when it comes to this attempt at regulating a word.
