Bankruptcy laws are in place (here in the US too) to give people a fresh start when they are buried to the point they can no longer function. Intelligent businessmen like Donald Trump use the system when they need to, and I don't view Trump as a loser. Families use it to get their lives back, and I don't view them as worthless. I've filed once before a long long time ago when one of my evil ex-wives buried us under debt. I rebounded from it with no trouble. Will do it again if I need to.
Just saying. The stigma of bankruptcy should be left in the 1950's where it belongs.
Whatever else you guys have against Sleazy, well that's between you guys. I'm not getting involved now or later.
And this is nothing more than an observational so if anyone gets bent over it, maybe there are personal issues that should be resolved there.

I agree with you, we shouldn't have anything like a debtor's prison. But I think we should be more accountable for our debts. I believe the Candian system lets people get off the hook a lot more than our US laws. I was also replying harshly on purprose to his comments that " I am not in bankruptcy any more " making it sound like it was some inconvenient 6 month process where he had to answer to someone else and *puff* its all over and everythign is back to normal for him.
