Wrong paypal email for payment FUCK !

    Guys

A company i'm working with sent me a paypal for some services i've done for them.
The thing is, the mail i entered in my profile is not right !
So they sent it to jackass@imanasshole
when it's suppose to be jackass@noasshole

    Get the picture ?

So someone got a cool Paypal payment !

Can they reverse the shit ? Can i do something about it on my end besides contacting them about it (which i already did)?

Have you tried contacting the sender? They could contact PayPal and have them reverse it.

if the paypal address doesn't exist already, the sender can reverse it right away with no drama...
if the paypal address exists already (probably unlikely) the sender will have to go through the paypal dispute process...

What happened to communicating directly with people you do business with?

Smells like a simple spam thread to me.

Nahhhhh mate, it ain't spam, i was happy as i was checking my stats while arranging my email and saw the commission so..
53925 JPY so basically 600US so it makes up a bit for the email fuck up.

I contacted them but they are based in Japan, so i won't here from them until tomorrow.

To be more precise, instead of using [email protected]
                i used [email protected]

Now go figure !@ Of course i've changed it in my profile right away but the damage was done.

About the dispute, does it take long ? What's involved ?

Some paypal payments can be reversed with reasons given, such as:
                    "Did not receive shipped product"
Send me an email: [email protected]

I've had it happen twice to me once the other person sent me the $$ straight back.
the other. my sister sent $$ to an incorrect email address to some guy in Mexico, he didn't return the money until a few weeks later after I snooped around and followed links back to his email address and I informed him I was going to email his employers, facebook friends and old university and tell them that he was a pedo.

the money came back pretty quick.

File a dispute and you'll get it back.
