Your children are inside and you can't go in, they can't leave. If you want to bring them things then you can but here is a list of things that they CAN'T have. By the way, they are hungry, dirty, they need medicine and the place is falling apart.'

Now it's law - if you go there to help your kids you are breaking the law - you aren't allowed in and no one is allowed out.

No matter how much you try to send them things for example to fix up the house or little treats that they like, the police are saying no - you can't send those things. They are refusing things and their reasoning is that some kid shot a gun and they don't want to put the rest of the community in danger.

Now when you go and you and some other parents team up and decide fuck this, these are our kids and try to charge in, what would you do when the police get all over you and try to stop you? Do you just surrender? No, you fight to do what you believe is right.

What if the police then killed you? They shot you for wanting to go in and just give your kids some food that they might need.

Who in their right mind would say 'Oh, well if you didn't want to be attacked then you shouldn't have disobeyed the police!'...nobody because what the police was doing was WRONG. Just because someone says something is a rule or law doesn't mean that it instantly becomes RIGHT. What Israel is doing is WRONG and no matter how much you guys try to bend and twist everything it is WRONG. The people going in with aid and food are brave humanitarians just looking to bring some aid to Gaza, killing them for doing that is WRONG.

Yes there was a clear ambush but, referring back to the analogy above, if the police would have just let the parents in to help their kids out, then there would have been no ambush. Just because the police made it legal first doesn't mean they were right, and it doesn't mean that the parents shouldn't have went in to help their kids. Or their friends. Or their neighbors.

That was a response to blofer80, DOX are you insane? I can't make sense of anything you wrote, but that's no different than any argument I've seen thus far in Israel's favor on this subject.
What is right and wrong are subjective terms...and realistically we live in a world where through out history "might makes right"...and it sitll does and probably always will. The blockade has been in effect since 2007 and many vessels have complied with Israeli demands over those years and even in this flotilla...apparently five vessels complied without incident. The sixth made the choice to attack the Israeli forces and anyone has the option to make the choice to fight...and the Israeli forces have the option of doing as anyone would do when attacked...they fought back...and when it is civilians fighting military forces it is similar to committing suicide.
