          I have driven the standard SRT8 and its a nice machine and blows our 5.7 V8 away in every respect

              I have the 5.7. The SRT8 was a great deal at my dealership, but has lots of bodywork below the car - too low for those of us who really have to use it for offroading driving

                              I have a '02 Durango 5.9 RT which I LOVE. It's big (I'm 6'6"), sounds incredible, and is VERY fast,,, and they're aren't a lot of them on the road. I almost bought the SRT-8 last year, but got a house instead (not same price by any means, but you know what I mean). So, I never got to test drive one. Now I find out a dude I play hoops with has an '06 SRT-8. He wanted me to test-drive his last weekend when we were shitfaced, but I honorably declined 'til sobriety sets in. Now I can't wait though. Those Hennessey ones are bad-ass.

                                                                      Ya, maybe if they were only comparing it to production vehicles, which isn't really fair.

                                                                      There's not a lot I can think of off hand that are super fast from the factory. Trailblazer SS, Porsche Cayenne, the regular Jeep SRT8, etc.
