I hope you get someone who knows what a freesite is :-P last designer I talked to said he could make me 10 freesites and after abit of chatting I came to the conclusion that he was talking about tgp's and I was talking about freesites

80% dont know what a freesite should look like and out of the 20% who do , 10% of those dont know the rules of LL's.

Not pointing to you - just using your statement

This just goes to prove that designers have no fucking idea what is needed for a free site - you need 70 different templates for 70 sites - not 7 - thats why half the sponsors out there that have hosted free sites arent being listed on the Linklists

Ray - should have added - you dont want designers to do free sites for you - you want free site builders - there is a huge difference since a free site should have very limited design and almost no graphics

Exactly. Most designers make their freesites way too flashy and then charge an arm and a leg for them. Few respect common linklist rules. The most common mistake I see is using the site's name for the name of the freesite, rather than coming up with unique names.
