not sure what you mean not all at once, the UK has 10k troops on the ground there NOW, they're obviously rotated but the ones that leave are replaced.
and the UK obviously can't commit as many men as the US considering your military has 7.5x as many men compared to the UK, but up until December the US only had 3x as many troops in Afghanistan as the UK. the British has also lost nearly 300 soldiers in action out there so for you to say there contribution is minimal is ignorant.
