Kosovo does indeed have a lot of coal. They aren?t huge deposits by world standards, but they?re pretty big ? the biggest in the region, fifth or sixth biggest in Europe. Beside that Kosovo is biggest drug smuggling center in Europe (become after US help) and place where real infrastructure exist for years together with cheap workers. It is really strange that with only several (but important) things that I've showed you think US is motivated by moral. US armed Kosovo muslims and used them as cannon fooder for their goals. There is major military base in Balkans and with taking out Kosovo from serbia all facotires there and infrastructure is simple taken from other people (others time and investement and before start to believe to what you see on CNN; take a look how much money is invested in Kosovo in previous 40 years, and that money was from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia... just to try to make those people civilized and to force them work honestyl and educate). US have interest or it wouldn't be there. If it is moral motivation, US would help palestinians, or dozen fucked up countries worldwide that really needed help).... I've promised that I won't write more about and this is Israel based subject, but just take a a look into statistics about level of crime,smuggling (people, and drugs) where are they now and why US didn't help them?
